Juniperus virginiana Silver Spear Bergenia As was the case

As was the case

Buddleia 'Evil Ways' is highlighted throughout the summer with terminal clusters of very dark purple fragrant flowers

I well remember the buzz of excitement when Hosta 'Olive Bailey Langdon' was introduced in the 1990's and now

it should have good winter hardiness

Juniperus virginiana Silver Spear Bergenia As was the caseJuniperus virginiana 'Silver Spear' is a 2014 JC Raulston Arboretum introduction of a Mark Weathington discovery of a lovely, narrow, spear shaped selection of our native red cedar. Our 10 year old specimen is now 18' tall x 2' wide. Due to the difficulty of propagation, this splendid selection is almost impossible to find.
