co-fermented and aged in 35% new French oak

they have resurrected a bevy of old head-pruned Zinfandel vineyards that had largely been ignored

with sage and tapenade followed by black cherry and blackberry

Bruno Colin, Chassagne Montrachet Maltroie Blanc Vintage:2022 This lingers long(from Ez Crets). A vague whiff of exoticism can be found on the aromas of white peach, floral and citrus confit. On the palate there is again excellent cut and punch to the lightly stony middleweight flavors that terminate in a clean, bright and nicely dry finish that is well balanced. Im normally not a huge fan of Maltroie blancs but this is really quite good.
