but they are in overall very good condition

with a few stray paint dabs here or there

This wonderful thing I know from the seller was found in New England and obviously all carved from one piece of wood (hardwood, or possibly a tropical wood) and I believe likely dates to about 1900 or so. In addition to being wonderfully primitive, to me it speaks all about absence and also
