This is a beautiful antique hardwood portable ink bottle

I'd guess this plaque was awarded to the lifetime employee of some business or corporation to mark four decades of service

are stained four different shades to my count

I am not completely sure what the metal pieces were salvaged from, but surely they had a life before becoming the sides of this little car or truck (?), nailed (with nice fat nails) to the sides of an old block of wood that forms the main body, and painted blue and red (much of which is clearly long gone.) Things like this make me very happy, just
