Fantastic 19th Century Very Finely Beaded Green and White Checkerboard Patterned Needlebook/Pinkeep painted cochiti drum awkward but eagerI swooned when I spotted this one, sold to me by a favorite dealer from Maine, and which I am quite sure is 19th c. New England. Since finding a very similarly constructed finely beaded needlebook a month or so ago (that one with a white New England house and sentiment "Remember Me" spelled out in tiny seed beads, just the size of these) I have been obsessed; not many of these out there, and it wouldn't surprise me a bit if this was made by the same
