Germany, Heer. A Recruiting Service Armband consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac of unofficial manufacture(Heer Armbinde fr Wehrersatzdienststellen). Constructed of a white cotton twill base, the exterior bearing a black dyed Heer style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 20. 5 cm (w) x 13. 5 cm (h) when folded on a flat surface, demonstrating significant soiling throughout but with no notable damage or wear, in very fine condition.
