New Zealand, Commonwealth. A Memorial Cross, 1945 Republic of landed at Omaha Beach onInstituted in 1919. In silver, Greek cross surrounded by laurel wreath and surmounted by Royal crown, obverse centrepiece shows a cipher of King George VI, with ferns at the end of each arm denoting New Zealand, measures 33. 7 mm, on original purple ribbon, extremely fine condition.
