Pinney, Ashburton Shield, 1880 Newly Listed small contact marksIn silver, the obverse presents a coat of arms with flowers, fleur de lis and lion, along with the inscription FLOREAT ETONA (Let It Flourish), reverse engraved ASHBURTON SHIELD 1880, rim engraved PRIVATE C. F. PINNEY, measures 38. 3 mm (w) x 44. 3 mm (h), worn on ornate suspension with small light blue ribbon, small contact marks, in extremely fine condition.
