Soviet Union. An Order Of The Red Banner For Second-Time Recipient United Republic of 5 mm (w) x 42( a ). Instituted on 16 September 1918. Type IV. An oval badge in gilded silver, the obverse presenting a motif of the order consisting of a red enamelled banner, a red star, a hammer, plow, torch and bayonet on white enamelled field with a surrounding wreath, the banner reads (Workers of the world unite!), the small red enamelled ribbon at the bottom presents the Cyrillic letters (the USSR), below that a white enamelled shield bearing the number 2
