Spain, Fascist State. An Order Of Aeronautical Merit, Grand Cross Breast Star Auction Archive measuring 56 mm in diameter(Orden al Mrito Aeronutico). Instituted November 30, 1945 by Francisco Franco. In silver gilt, an eight point star with clusters of faceted rays, the obverse features a white enamelled cross with the Spanish emblem on the front and aeronautical wings on the arms, each quadrant of the cross are alternating lions and castles, the reverse features a single vertical pin flanked by dual stays, marked SJ denoting Stefano Johnson manufacture, measures 69.
