Finland, Republic. An Order of the Lion of Finland, Grand Cross Breast Star Heer. A Flak/Artillery Hauptmann’s Service Tunic MAYER & FR(Suomen Leijonan ritarikunta). Instituted September 11, 1942. In silver, silver gilt and enamels, a five point star of smooth rays, with a cluster of three scaled rays in each quadrant, the obverse medallion featuring a rampant lion on red enamels, the reverse with a vertical pin, reverse base is marked with the Finnish crown, 830 silver mark and L8 date mark denoting 1988, measures 85. 2 mm (w) x 84. 6 mm (h), enamels intact, light silver wear, very
