The camp opened in 1939 to house Polish prisoners from the German September 1939 offensive
engraver marked "H PONSCARME" on the obverse
Germany, Wehrmacht. A Visor Cap Eagle Insignia Hold meeting reinforced buttonholes(Wehrmacht Mtzenadler). Constructed of aluminum, the reverse with both attachment prongs intact, unmarked, measuring 66 mm (w) x 26 mm (h), a crack is evident to the eagles left shoulder, in otherwise very fine condition.
