A mint and unissued Reichsluftschutzbund (Reich Air Protection League RLB) VM40 gas mask, constructed of slate grey synthetic rubber. It features eyepieces consisting of aluminum rings with intact transparent plastic lenses. The mouth features a magnetic metal intact ring with functional interior flaps, accommodating a separate filter, itself constructed of an aluminum shell with pristine filter. Straps
