A circular silver medal with a raised rim on both the obverse and reverse, the obverse depicting three aircraft flying in the sky with a T 35 tank below, inscribed For Courage and CCCP in Russian script, the reverse is plain, suspended from a pentagonal ribbon, with a metal core, and a horizontal pinback, measuring 37. 0 mm in diameter.
