A Royal Merit Order Of St. Michael Merit Medal, C.1900 certificate_of_authenticity comprising Breast Star and Neck(Bayerisch Kniglicher Verdienstorden vom heiligen Michael) Instituted 16 February 1837. A circular medal constructed of silver, the obverse bears an image of St. Michael slaying a dragon, he holds a shield that reads Quis Ut Deus (Who [is] like God?), the reverse centre bears the inscription VIRTVTI (VIRTUE) encompassed by a wreath of oak tied with a ribbon in a bow at the bottom, measuring 35. 94 mm (w) x 43. 67 mm (h), with loop for suspension on a
