Constructed of gilded and silvered feinzink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, topped by a German national eagle, with a central destroyer cutting through waves, its bow extending beyond the wreath, the reverse with a barrel hinge and banjo style pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked SCHWERIN, BERLIN, measuring 45. 11 mm (w) x 54. 31 mm (h), the obverse swastika has been ground out and the reverse
