Croatian Naval Legion was involved in the Eastern (Russian) front as part of the German Naval group 'Unterseebootjagerflotille 23' at the Black Sea during 1942 43. Legions commander was Andro Vrkljan, and duties of the Legion included escort, minesweeping and alike. Badge was awarded after 2 months of active service.
