Germany, Federal Republic. A 1925 General Gau Honour Badge, Silver Grade by Rudolf Souval, c. 1980 Auction 10mm (h – including the(Gau Abzeichen fr Mitglieder der NSDAP seit 1925 in Silber). Constructed of silvered bronze with enamels, the reverse with a raised barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat catch, unmarked but demonstrating the characteristics of an exhibition example produced c. 1980 by Rudolf Souva, Vienna, measuring 47 mm (w) x 47 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
