Spain, Second Republic. An Order of the Liberation of Spain, Breast Star, by Arthus Bertrand Buy Now stamped with a NSDAP membership(Orden Civil de la Liberacin de Espaa). Instituted September 3, 1947. In silver gilt, a large white enamelled cross pattee with green enamelled wreath segments on each side of each arm and three smooth rays in each quadrant, the obverse medallion presenting the Spanish coat of arms encircled by a red ring inscribed REPUBLICA ESPANOLA, in turn surrounded by a wreath with red, yellow and purple enamel strips at each cardinal point, the reverse with a
