Constructed of gilded aluminum, the obverse bearing a raised NSDAP style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, set within a circular oak leaf wreath, the reverse with swivel attachment claws and a clip connecting to a removable loop, the buckle marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code M4 27 for Overhoff & Cie, Ldenscheid, the loop marked with a RZM logo and maker code
