Heartwood color varies from pink red to rich dark reddish brown. With its moderately coarse texture and attractive natural sheen, Ebiara works easily using sharp tooling. It is commonly used for veneer, fine furniture, cabinetry, turned pieces, and other specialty woodworking projects.
