India, Bahawalpur. A Victory Star 1939-1945 United Republic of 100 mm x 155 mm(Nusrat 1939 1945). Instituted in 1945. In bronze, measuring 42. 5 mm (w) x 55 mm (h) inclusive of its integral ring suspension, original ribbon, contact marks, better than very fine. Footnote: The Victory Star was issued by the Indian Princely State of Bahawalpur, to those of its citizens who had participated in the Second World War. In 1947, Bahawalpur became part of the new state of Pakistan.
