Constructed of a light blue rayon cloth base, the exterior trimmed along both the top and bottom edges with a white tresse, overlaid by a central machine embroidered white disc, in turn bearing a stamped black second pattern Reichsluftschutzbund (Reich Air Protection League RLB) insignia, measuring 19. 5 cm (w) x 10 cm (h) when folded on a flat surface, demonstrating minor soiling to the base
