The National Cartoonists Society Album, 1980 Edition Comic Strips Throughout his captivityIn the newspaper comic strips heyday, The National Cartoonists Society founded in 1946, included every foremost comics creator in the country. For these occasional albums, each member was asked to submit a half page profile illustrated with a photo and an example of their work. For this 1980 edition, 343 National Cartoonists Society members contributed a half page about him or herself, including Neal Adams, Jim Berry, Roy Crane, Chester Gould, Jack
