Constructed of silvered bronze with black enamels, the obverse consisting of a black enameled disc, bearing a silvered date of 1921 topped by oak leaves and a raised Stahlhelm insignia, the reverse with a crimped barrel hinge and banjo style pinback meeting a flat wire catch, bearing an engraved membership code and date of 21. 6. 21., maker marked with the logo of Der Stahlhof, Magdeburg, measuring 30. 17
