with the sides of the darker joined by nails and the lighter with lovely dovetail joints

There is a bit of wear to lacquer around its edges and on its interior

making them  pretty great displayed side by side just as sculptures if not at either end of a row of books

This bowl, to me, embodies a sense of well being; I might use it daily as a serving bowl for cooked grains or steamed veggies and then also, on occasion, for a truly decadent huge ice cream sundae! 6 1 4" diameter at widest; 4 1 8" tall. 4 5 8" across from inside of lip; 2 3 4" across at base.
