I like the connection between the figure mining for fish hidden below the surface of the ice and the box itself as a place where treasures are concealed and kept safe

When I spotted this set of four hand-painted porcelain demitasse cups

A charming set of vintage painted wood toy bowling pins or skittles in yellow

Long Rectangular German Horsehair Brush with Wooden Handle curated silver and pinkish molded ceramicAnother nice brush; nothing fancy about this one, just simple and lovely, with rounded corners on the wooden handle at either end, horsehair bristles, and a hole for hanging. Lots of use left in it, and handy for a wide variety of tasks! The handle is stamped HR 13 204 Made in Germany. It measures 9 1 2" long x 2" tall x 3 4" wide handle and is in great vintage condition.
